I was so pleased with your wonderful responses and recipe ideas. Erin wins not only for giving me the most ideas (because wow, that was a lot!) but also for her creativity and simplicity. I can actually see myself using nearly all of those suggestions. So way to go, girl! And thanks!
BTW Erin is herself quite the excellent blogger so instead of hating on her for the win I hope you’ll go check out her site, where you can learn all about repurposing vintage objects to make them useful and/or pretty; or read about how to care for 16 chickens on half an acre; or just sigh over her lovely photos of beautiful old things and beautiful young things (three in particular).
